Statement of Faith

THE HOLY BIBLE: The Holy Bible, in its original writing, is the true, infallible and inerrant word of God given to man through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It alone is the supreme and final authority for providing doctrinal truths, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness.

He is sent by God to teach believers all things and guide them into all truth. He is the Spirit of truth who convicts the world of sin and testifies of the true children of God. The mark of a true believer is the demonstrated fruit of the Holy Spirit in one’s life. In addition, the Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the Church.

REDEMPTION: Sin and death entered the world through the disobedience of one man, Adam, by the deception of Satan, thus spreading eternal damnation to all men. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The consequence of sin is physical and eternal death. Humanity’s only hope for redemption is in Jesus Christ, who God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness by passing over sins that were previously committed.

SALVATION: Salvation comes through no other name under heaven than Jesus Christ; who is the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him. It is available to anyone who: 1) calls upon the name of the Lord Jesus, and 2) obeys the truth and commandments set forth in the Word of God. Believers are instructed to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is those who endure to the end shall be saved. True believers are to be holy and separate themselves from the things of this world, therefore testifying of His Lordship in their lives. Evidence of true regeneration is witnessed by crucifying the carnal nature and manifesting the character of Christ.

ETERNITY: Scripture depicts only two eternal destinations: Eternal Life and Eternal Damnation. The kingdom of heaven is reserved for the righteous; those who believe upon the name of Christ and love Him through their obedience to His commandments. Everlasting punishment is reserved for Satan, his angels and all the ungodly who forsake the commandments of God; trampling His Son underfoot, counting the blood of His covenant common, and insulting the Spirit of grace.

THE CHURCH: Comprised of the universal and indivisible body of true believers, regenerated by the Spirit of God and committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. The Church is not to forsake the assembling together, exhorting one another and distributing to the needs of the saints. It is the reflection of Jesus Christ clothed in humility and love; ministering to a lost and needy world. We are not to look to a title, a man, building, or a denomination. We are to warn against the exaltation and worship of these things. True believers are the body of Christ, with Jesus Christ as the only head.

DISCIPLESHIP: The divine responsibility to not only lead the lost to Christ, but to disciple those who have claimed the name of Christ. To provide diligent instruction in the Word, teaching the divine character and attributes of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Discipleship includes guiding believers into an intimate loving relationship with God through: 1) diligently entering into His rest, 2) steadfast prayer and obedience, 3) worshipping Him in spirit and truth, 4) continual self-examination; maintaining a humble and contrite spirit, and 5) forsaking all that you are, for all that He is.

SECOND COMING: Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His kingdom and bring about the final defeat of Satan; destroying all his works. This will occur at a time and date undisclosed by scriptures. The Lord is coming for His true church where the dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive shall be caught up together with them to meet Him. His saints will receive a glorified body and will reign with Him for eternity.
